Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is an evidence based profession which takes a ‘whole person’ approach to the health and wellbeing of their patients and their injuries, including their general lifestyle.
At the core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.
Physiotherapists treat injuries and conditions which affect the muscles, joints, and soft tissues through the use of manual therapy, movement and exercise, education and advice.
All our physiotherapists are Chartered and registered with the CSP and HCPC.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the many skills used by physiotherapists as part of an intergrated approach in the management of pain, inflammation and to enhance the bodies own healing chemicals to aid recovery, healing and rehabilitation.
All our Physiotherapists practicing acupuncture are members of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and will use acupuncture to aid with pain relief and to complement their manual therapy skills. Following an in depth physiotherapy assessment treatment will begin with an aim to restore the bodies systems to a state of balance.
